Spider-Man Film Screening Was A Big Success!

Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse is a powerful and moving story. It has been praised for its stunning visuals, its thought-provoking story, and its powerful performances. This online screening will be followed by Trivia Questions and prizes. Our recent online film screening for kids was a huge success! We had several families tune in to watch the film that was both entertaining and educational. The film was selected by our Film Club members. We were thrilled to see so many families participate in the screening, and we received positive feedback from many young filmmakers who enjoyed the film and learned something new. One parent wrote, “My kids loved the film screening! They laughed, they cried, and they even learned a thing or two.”Another parent wrote, “I was so impressed with the quality of the film. They were all well-made and engaging, and they really resonated with my kids.”
We are grateful to everyone who participated in the film screening, and we hope to see more attend our December Film Screening.

Giving Tuesday is Here!

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that takes place on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It’s a day to come together and support the causes we care about.
This year, Giving Tuesday is on November 28, 2023. At the Dr. Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation, we are asking for your help to raise $2,500.00 to support our mission to raise funds for our Summer Film Program. Your donation will help us to offer an amazing program for our young filmmakers.
No matter how much you can give, your donation will make a difference. Please consider making a donation to the Dr. Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation on Giving Tuesday. Your gift will help us to create a better world for everyone.
