Mentorship Camp Is Back!

Write, Shoot, Edit! Film Camp Is Back In-Person!

The Foundation will once again be holding a Summer Film Camp for youth in grades 7-12. This two-week, eight session summer workshop will introduce students to the process of film making. The students will create a short film (between 5-10 minutes), complete with credits and soundtrack, while learning the fundamentals of how films are created. This is an opportunity for teens to be exposed to several new skills in a fun environment! Camp will be held at our Venice Space!

Volunteer Spotlight of The Month: Mr. Brandon Zaragoza

Brandon Zaragoza is a Volunteer with our Film Screening Program. According to Brandon what made him want to become a volunteer was being able to help with activities for youth who had a love for anything film related. He knows that many of our young filmmakers have an interest working in the film industry as help with activities for youth who had a love for anything film related. He knows that many of our young filmmakers have an interest working in the film industry as they grow older, so being there to spark their interest even more, and help guide them is why he volunteers with us.
