This month, we are incredibly proud to feature&nbsp;<strong>Vincent Millunzi<\/strong>, a student whose dedication to the craft of filmmaking embodies everything we strive for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Behind the Lens: How the Film Club is Scripting My Future<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For as long as Vince can remember, he has viewed the world through a cinematic lens. His life is rooted in&nbsp;<strong>Television and Film production<\/strong>, but it wasn\u2019t until he joined the&nbsp;<strong>Mentorship Program<\/strong>&nbsp;that his dreams started to gain the structural integrity they needed to become a reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His sights are set high:&nbsp; he is headed to college to major in&nbsp;<strong>Film<\/strong>, and he knew that to get there, he needed more than just a passion for movies\u2014Vince needed a roadmap. That is exactly what this Foundation has provided. They aren\u2019t just giving him encouragement; they are giving him the tangible&nbsp;<strong>resources<\/strong>&nbsp;to bridge the gap between \u201cstudent\u201d and \u201cprofessional.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Power of the Page<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most transformative parts of his journey has been diving into the&nbsp;<strong>screenwriting process<\/strong>. He used to think a script was just a collection of dialogue, but the Mentorship Program provided him with the tools to forge something far more thorough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This experience taught Vince how to format a scene heading. It gave him fundamentals that impacted his ability to be a&nbsp;<strong>better storyteller in general<\/strong>. It challenged him to look deeper into his narratives and ask&nbsp;<em>why<\/em>&nbsp;a character is moving or&nbsp;<em>how<\/em>&nbsp;a specific shadow impacts the mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Vince prepares for the next chapter of his education, he has this to say, \u201cI\u2019m walking onto campus with a toolkit already full. I\u2019m not just a student with a dream anymore; I\u2019m a writer with a script, a producer with a plan, and a storyteller with a voice that is ready to be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cWatching our students like Vince realize that their voice has power is why we do what we do.
